Concept engineering
The foundation of every project at nxtGen is the concept phase, in which the customer's requirements and wishes are precisely defined in a specification and requirements document. The technical and economic feasibility of these requirements is carefully analyzed, while initial CAD concepts are developed and examined in a multidisciplinary manner in the context of the overall system. Particular attention is paid to CE conformity, a crucial aspect that is taken into account right from the start. This phase ends successfully with the PDR milestone.
Basic engineering
In the following Basic phase, nxtGen focuses on creating validated data such as analyses, simulations and software codes. This data is crucial for the verification of the static and dynamic requirements using the Finite Element Method (FEM). The findings are verified using prototypes and test setups in nxtGen's own premises, which ensures the integrity and reliability of the results. This phase culminates in the CDR milestone.
Detail engineering
In the detail phase, nxtGen generates implementation-ready documents for the realization of the project, including 3D models, drawings, parts lists and complete CE documentation. These documents are crucial for starting the supply chain process, whereby the first suppliers can already be contacted. The detail phase ends with the MRR milestone.
realization
During the implementation phase, the procurement and production process starts at nxtGen. Suppliers are carefully selected and commissioned, and the planning, control and monitoring of the value chain is an essential part of our work. All components are assembled into an overall system in our factory and tested before the project is completed with the FAT milestone together with our clients.
integration
In the integration phase, nxtGen delivers the entire system and puts it into operation at the client's site. We provide support during the integration and start-up process and offer training for users. The official project completion is marked by the successful completion of the SAT milestone.
Project management
Reducing interfaces within projects is a central part of our strategy. The 360° project process at nxtGen integrates a multidisciplinary project manager who ensures the factors of time, cost and quality and promotes efficient communication throughout the entire project.
